  • Talk therapy

It can feel muddled and confusing when you are trying to sort out your emotions and circumstances. My aim is to assist you to come to a better understanding of yourself, your circumstances while helping you reach your personal goals. My psychodynamic approach allows for flexibility and is not a one size fits all approach. I apply various theories, modalities and evidence based practices depending on where my client is and what works best for them. We will go at your pace and direction in working together.

  • Adolescent Therapy (14 Plus)

This is a time where many emotions and feelings go through peaks and valleys which can be stressful to navigate. Self-identity, personal growth, changes in beliefs and values, friendships, relationships, academics, planning for life after high school are just some of the areas where teenagers can become stuck or find they are having difficulty maneuvering. In my therapy with adolescents we work together to first build a relationship of trust, which strongly includes a teenager to not feel judged. We will work on building an understanding of their challenges with the goal of learning lifelong coping skills and a better understanding of themselves.

  • Couples Therapy

You and your partner may be experiencing feelings of disconnection or struggling with effectively communicating with one another. It is common for couples to experience challenges in the span of their relationship. There are many difficulties that may come up which challenge the partnership such as: increase in arguments, feeling that your partner no longer understands you, lack of intimacy, getting stuck in same conflict, repetitively. As a Gottman Method Couples trained therapist we will work together on areas such as: learning and implementing a more productive style of communication, gaining a deeper understanding of your partner and your relationship, increasing fondness and intimacy.

Gottman Method Trained: Level 1 and Level 2

Your reasons for seeking therapy is the foundation of our work and guided by your pace and goals. My clinical experience will promote and honor your purpose for being in therapy.

Professional Supervision

Clinical supervision is a place to get curious about yourself, your clients, and the profession. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over a decade and enjoy providing supervision to those who are either on their path to obtaining their clinical license or those wanting to reflect on their therapy practice in a safe space. My goal in supervision is to help you become more aware of your unique strengths and reinforce them, as well as assisting you in identifying areas you may need additional support in order to help further your professional growth. I provide a space that promotes asking questions, exploring your own biases, and feeling comfortable expressing doubts. If you are looking for clinical supervision or consultation please contact me via phone or email.
